Find your size

Measure around your middle at the widest point, usually level with your belly button. Over clothes is fine, it will not change the size.

Between two sizes? Go for the larger one. The fastening takes up the slack, and a band that is slightly generous is far more comfortable than one that is slightly tight.
  • Adjustable hook-and-loop fastening, so you set the hold yourself

Wearing it

Three steps, and you are done

No clips and no pulling. The hook-and-loop fastening means you decide how much hold you want, and you can change your mind halfway through the day.

Sit the band low

Wrap it around your middle with the wider edge sitting comfortably low, not up around your ribs.

Close it gently

Bring the fastening across and press it down. Start looser than you think you need.

Adjust as the day goes

Loosen it after a meal, tighten it before a walk. It is meant to move with you.

How to know it is right. You should be able to breathe normally, move easily, and slide two fingers between the band and your body. If you cannot, loosen it. Snug is the goal, tight is not.

When to start

Whenever you feel ready

There is no schedule to keep up with. Some mums reach for it in the first days, others weeks later. Both are fine, and your midwife or GP is the right person to ask about your own recovery.

What our customers do

Most tell us they wear it for a few hours at a time rather than all day, and build up from there. It is not something you have to keep on for it to be worth wearing.

“I don’t wear it all day, but using it for a few hours daily has made a noticeable difference.”

Hannah L. · verified review

“I mostly wear it for a few hours in the evening.”

If you have had stitches, surgery, or anything at all that makes you hesitate, have a word with your midwife or GP before you start. We would always rather you asked.

After a caesarean

Yes, mums wear it after a caesarean

It is the question we are asked most. The band is soft and fully adjustable, so you can sit it where it feels comfortable for you and keep it as loose as you like.

We are not going to tell you when to start, because that depends on you and on what your midwife or doctor says. What we can tell you is what our customers say.

“I’m 3 months post c-section and this has been a lifesaver. It’s so comfy.”

Yami L. · verified review

“I had a vaginal birth, so I could wear it right away.”

Out and about

Under a jumper, nobody knows

A flat band with no buckles and no rigid panels, made to disappear under the things you actually wear. Under something very close-fitting you may catch the edge of it, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.

With the band on

How it feels

Held, not squeezed

The difference between a band you keep wearing and one that stays in the drawer is whether it holds you without gripping. That is the whole brief.

“I’ve tried a few postpartum binders before, but this one is by far the most comfortable. The support is firm without being restrictive, and it stays in place all day.”

Jonelle M. · verified review

“Simple, effective, and very comfortable to wear. I’m really happy with this purchase.”

Close the fastening before washing so it does not catch on anything. We suggest washing by hand in cool water and drying flat rather than in a tumble dryer.

A closer look at the gentle support — plus answers to the questions mums ask most.

Frequently Asked Questions

When can I start wearing it after birth?+
Many mums begin wearing it gently in the early days once they feel comfortable. After a natural birth you can usually start whenever it feels good to you, and after a C-section it's best to wait until you feel ready — always listen to your body and check with your midwife or GP if you're unsure.
How long should I wear it each day?+
Comfort comes first. Most mums wear it for a few hours at a time and build up gradually as it feels right — whether that's during feeds, school runs or housework. Pop it off whenever you'd like a break.
Is it suitable after a C-section?+
Yes — it's designed to feel gentle. The soft, adjustable compression gives a reassuring sense of support around your middle. Start gently once you feel ready, and check with your midwife or GP if you have any concerns about your recovery.
Will it show under my clothes?+
It's designed to stay discreet. The slim, smooth band sits flat against your body so it sits invisibly under everyday outfits — you can wear it out and about with confidence.
How do I choose my size?+
The band is available in S, M, L and XL–2XL and adjusts with a soft hook-and-loop closure for a made-to-you fit. If you're between sizes, we'd suggest sizing up for the gentlest, most comfortable hold as your body recovers.
How do I wash it?+
Easy to keep fresh. Close the fastening, then hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent and lay flat to air dry. Avoid tumble drying so the soft, breathable fabric keeps its shape and gentle stretch.
What if it doesn’t work for me?+
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. If you're not completely happy, contact us for a full refund — free UK returns, no overseas postage. All purchases are also protected under the UK Consumer Rights Act.
How fast is shipping to the UK?+
We offer free shipping on all UK orders. Delivery takes 3–5 business days UK-wide, fully tracked.
